We use this report to supplement the inventory forecast.
It is really important to show the balance in order to demonstrate:
1. If the item was out out of stock during the time period
2. The length(s) it was out of stock for - the length of the OOS periods have a bearing on how we estimate how many items would have sold. (This is relevant even after the Days OOS is added to the Inventory Forecast.)
