Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASN) are used by the supplier to notify you that the order is ready or at port. When an ASN is received it is entered here. Multiple ASN’s can be added to a single INSHP enabling multiple PO’s to be combined. This is used to consolidate orders coming from multiple locations into one shipment or container.

Receiving Transaction (RCT) is to notify the system that items have been received in the warehouse. Usually this will be done by warehouse workers using the app but can also be done here. An RCT on a PO takes the received lines out of ‘On Order’ and moves it into ‘Stock’.
