Packages
Packages are used to track and monitor the use of packaging materials in the warehouse. We find the relevant settings under Settings > Settings > Packages.
When adding or editing Package Templates we see the same core settings. Clicking on one of the existing Package Templates we can edit them.
Barcode, Cost and Stock levels are used to track package usage. This is useful for reporting so that you can get better insight into your costs.
The colour set here can help aid in workplace efficiency by showing the colour on the packing app making it clearer and easier to pick the correct package from the shelf.
If the packing station is fitted with LED indicators the relevant packaging type will be highlighted when the picking app tells the warehouse agent which pack to use.
When receiving new packaging materials, simply update the number under the relevant package type here. The stock level will automatically go down when a warehouse agent scans and uses a package.
