Inventory models refer to the way in which items are managed as they move around TradePeg. They dictate what information needs to be entered when moving stock around the warehouse, or out the door!

They are applied to each SKU individually, giving you the flexibility of managing different product lines with different controls. We can set a SKU to be multi-binned, batched, make it require quality control, etc.

They are applied per SKU on the product page (or in bulk via an Import Template): A screenshot of a computer

“Batch Data” sets which data is used to identify a Batch. If ‘Full Batch Info’ is used, at least one of the three core fields (Best Before Date, Production Date, Lot Number) must be entered when creating a Batch.

“Batch Fields” allow you to define optional additional information which may be necessary to help identify a batch.

Require QC” means that received stock is reserved until it undergoes Quality Control.
