The simplest way to do this would be to have a custom formula which will show in either UOM or Specifications which can be customised by client, eg for Hermes would be =(Shortest Side + Medium Side * 2) + Longest Side. In rules there would be a function to look at this calculation and would state if number is larger then 245 then needs to go with another carrier....
